How much different would the world be today if Ralph Nader had never run for President in 2000?

While that's true, Don, it's also important to ask, "How much different would the world be if Al Gore had run a serious campaign?"

Not sure Gore is capable of that.

I do understand that I suffer from Nader-Derangement Syndrome though...

I'm not going to argue that Nader didn't make the difference, but it was a close enough election that a thousand other things could've made the difference, too. Gore should've delivered a large enough margin to have taken most of that (or enough of it, anyway) in stride that Nader wouldn't have been a deciding factor. The fact that he didn't is on him, not on Ralph.
