I'm not going to argue that Nader didn't make the difference, but it was a close enough election that a thousand other things could've made the difference, too. Gore should've delivered a large enough margin to have taken most of that (or enough of it, anyway) in stride that Nader wouldn't have been a deciding factor. The fact that he didn't is on him, not on Ralph.
While that's true, Don, it's also important to ask, "How much different would the world be if Al Gore had run a serious campaign?"
